IHG Green Engage
All hotels that are part of the IHG hotel group use the IHG Green Engage system.
This innovative online system provides institutions with the tools to measure and manage their environmental impact.
Hotels can thus choose from more than 200 “green solutions” designed to help them reduce their energy and water consumption and waste, thereby reducing their environmental impact.
The hotel
- A dedicated Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) staff member is committed to training employees on eco-friendly practices both at the hotel and in their homes.
- We aim to minimize the hotel’s carbon footprint as much as possible (electronic bills, less paper, local products, and healthy food).
- We take care of our teams with a constant focus on their well-being, safety, and security, as well as their work-life balance.
- To reduce energy waste, our hotel is equipped with LED lights, and we carefully monitor the building’s lighting and temperature.
In your room
- To reduce paper use, the room service menu has been digitized as a QR code displayed on our televisions.
- Miniature beauty product samples have been replaced with larger, reusable containers.
- Our guests can choose whether or not to have their sheets and towels changed during their stay.
At the restaurant and bar
- The vast majority of our ingredients come from local suppliers who are transparent and committed to animal welfare.
- We minimize the use of single-use plastics, such as straws, as much as possible.
At the concierge desk
- We recommend that our guests enjoy outdoor, eco-friendly activities: hiking in the forest, bike rides, exploring Chantilly and its many attractions, etc.
- Our parking lot is equipped with four charging stations for electric cars.
At the convention center
- Our teams sort waste for recycling and limit the use of single-use items such as pens and notepads, which are reused as scratch paper.
